Stephen Ministry Workshop

A Stephen Ministry Workshop will be held at Westminster on Saturday, May 5, 2012.  This workshop is being presented by Stephen Ministries, St. Louis, and is a great introduction to Stephen Ministries, especially designed for those churches in our area that are not currently enrolled as a Stephen Ministry congregation. We invite you to spread the word about this opportunity to other churches in the area. Members of Westminster are invited to attend this workshop free of charge, and should contact Lou Ann Breckenridge to register and/or get more information.

Teams of four golfers will represent a church from the Presbytery and play 100 holes of golf in one day. Continental Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are all included in this day-long event. Each golfer is asked to donate $100 (a dollar a hole) and to raise additional pledges of at least $24 per hole from friends, family and business associates, all to benefit Stronghold. These donations ARE tax deductable.

If you are interested, sign up to be a golfer, organize a foursome and start fundraising today. If you can’t find a foursome, you can be added to another team. Otherwise, you can sponsor a registered golfer with a generous donation to Stronghold, OR challenge a golfer by giving a dollar for each hole they play!
