Westminster Youth

Our Mission is to provide opportunities for youth to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior, apply the love of Jesus to their own lives and share that love with others.

We want our students to have a personal relationship with Christ, stand on a solid foundation of faith and the Word and apply this to their lives thru service.

 

Sunday Morning Learning Hour:

Middle School Class are students in 6th, 7th and 8th grades. They will meet each Sunday to "Live It Out!" as they learn how the parables apply to today.  Meet in the Junior High classroom in the Youth Room, 10:00-11:00am.

9-12th graders are in studying "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe." See more @ Facebook | WPCBOOTCAMP 10:00am every Sunday morning. Feeding the soul and the body!

 

YOUTH GROUPS:

Special Events for Senior High Students only: Aug. 14: Day at the Lake.
Senior High students meet weekly during the school year from 6:30 - 8:00pm. Details to come on fall events and youth group.

Middle School Youth Group Special Events!
Aug. 5-7- Junior High Workcamp with Christ Methodist in Rockford
Aug. ?? -Pool Party, date to be announced!


Weekly Junior High Youth Group or "Club 67"(Meets from Sept. through March 17, currently on break) is a combination group for students in grades 6-8th. Both meet at 4:30 in the Youth Room and cost $80.00 per student per year. Interested in registering? Print out the registration form for Junior High Youth Group and bring it along to Club67!
Club67 is for Students in grades 6th & 7th. Through activities, discussion and messages based on “Middle School Talksheets” (On the Life of Christ), they focus on issues very real to Junior High Youth. The cost is
Confirmation is for students in the 8th grade. It is both a membership preparation class and a time for students to focus on their faith. This class is lead during the school year by Pastor Ward and Pastor Smazik.

Wednesday night schedule:
4:30-5:00pm- Hang out
5:00-6:00pm- Confirmation meets in the Conference Room/ Club67 meets in the Youth Room
6:00-6:30pm- Joint activities
6:30-7:00pm- Dinner, free time and goodbys




Staff:
Our Senior High and Junior High Youth groups have dedicated and caring adult sponsors/volunteers who are with the youth each week. They provide wonderful leadership to the youth.

Westminster Youth Ministries at WPC is coordinated by Kristin Cordell under the direction of the Youth Ministry Team. The Youth Ministry Team serve to plan and guide the entire program.
